How to start treatment
implantological?

The first and most important step - maxillary and mandibular conical tomography (CBCT). NOTE - not to be confused with a pantomogram.

To do a tomography, you must have a referral, we can send a referral by e-mail, for this purpose you can write to us at ladwadent@gmail.com with a request for a referral and provide your name and PESEL number.

In the case of people from distant locations, the tomography can be sent by post (copy of the disc) or electronically, and our specialists will make a preliminary assessment of the bone condition and the possibility of inserting implants.

It should be emphasized that this will be only a preliminary assessment, and only after seeing the patient can the implant treatment be precisely planned and its costs determined.

Therefore, in the case of patients coming from far away, we arrange a consultation with the possibility of a possible procedure if there are no contraindications.

Then schedule a consultation with us by calling 791380325 or by email: ladwadent@gmail.com

10 questions for an implantologist

Beautiful teeth are a sign of success. They make you attractive and confident!
Modern implantology is a guide to a better life!

Tooth implant - what is it?

A tooth implant is a small cone that functions as a tooth root, it is made of titanium or other biocompatible material that is implanted into the jaw bone. A prosthetic superstructure (crown, bridge) is attached to the implant.

A

For whom and in what cases is implantological treatment indicated?

A loss in a tooth bite can lead to many negative effects (abnormal wear, tooth abrasion). This is a reason to consult an implant surgeon and consider implant placement.

A

Why implants and not a prosthesis or a bridge?

The advantages of implantation are their durability, a much better aesthetic effect, as well as patient comfort. Placing dental implants allows in most cases to completely get rid of wearing removable dentures. Additionally, thanks to implantation, filling in missing teeth eliminates the need to prepare the adjacent teeth.

How much more expensive is implant prosthetics compared to traditional methods?

Compared to other types of prostheses, implants are more expensive, but only at first glance. For example, after inserting an implant, when one tooth is lost, only one artificial crown is attached, not three (two on the pillars), because the adjacent teeth do not need to be additionally ground. In addition, dentures on implants are considered more durable, implants do not undergo caries or periodontitis, and do not require frequent replacement.

A

Are there any contraindications to implantation?

Unfortunately yes. These contraindications
- include
- blood diseases;
- coronary heart disease;
- hypertension;
- diseases of the central nervous system;
- tuberculosis;
- collagenosis (systemic lupus erythematosus);
severe liver disease (cirrhosis, hepatitis C);
- pathologies of the endocrine system (removal of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, type 2 diabetes);
- malignant neoplasms;
- severe forms of periodontal disease.

A

Do I need to do a preliminary examination before the procedure to find out how many implants need to be implanted?

A preliminary examination is always performed prior to implantation. The operation is planned only after a thorough X-ray examination of the jaws and teeth, and above all in the areas of the proposed insertion of implants.

Does any special treatment need to be carried out prior to implant placement?

Plaque, tartar, tooth decay, and pulpitis all cause bacteria to spread and become infected later. If patients do not pay attention to it, it can lead to the onset of inflammation and infection. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the oral cavity for the procedure. It involves the treatment of all carious teeth and good oral hygiene.

How painful is implant surgery?

Most people fear implantation because of the pain they once experienced at the dentist. Implantation is a completely painless and non-traumatic process. There are no nerve endings in the bone tissue.

After local anesthesia, you will feel nothing but the pressure of the fingers of the doctor who places the implant. In addition, a single implant operation lasts only about 30 minutes, and after its completion, you can safely go home.

When can prosthetics be performed after implant placement?

After 3 months for the lower jaw and 6 months for the upper jaw

What are the guarantees for implant placement and how long will the implant last?
The effectiveness reaches 98%. Rejections are very rare and most often result from non-compliance with medical recommendations or improper hygiene performed by the patient after the procedure.
When it comes to implant lifetime, there are patients who have been using implant-supported prostheses for over 25 years.

We hope you don't have any more questions, just choose the clinic and implantologist?
